The M024B ICI Mace Snag Tester is an essential tool designed for rigorous fabric testing. It must be securely placed on a robust bench to ensure stability and prevent movement during use, thus guaranteeing accurate and consistent results every time.

Principle
The operation involves nail hammers, suspended by chains, revolving around a guide rod. These hammers come into contact with the fabric samples, which are strategically positioned on the tumbler to ensure an effective test.

Upon rotation of the tumbler at a constant speed for a specified duration, the samples are removed and placed in a pilling assessment box. The samples are then meticulously compared against a rating card to determine the wear grade with precision.
