The fabric feel style is not only one of the most important indicators of textile comfort, but also an important factor in the sale of textiles. Therefore, textile feel style measuring instruments have been a research direction of close attention in textile science and technology, and it has become an urgent need to correctly, effectively and objectively evaluate the fabric feel style. The system is based on the concept of single-computer, single-measurement, multi-indicator testing. By simulating the manual touch of the fabric pulling, pressing, pinching, kneading and rubbing, the system can test the thickness, bending, compression, friction and stretching properties of the fabric, and obtain five quantitative indicators of thickness, softness, stiffness, smoothness and tightness to objectively evaluate the comprehensive handfeel style of the fabric. Suitable for general fibre sheet products: clothing fabrics, home textiles, non-wovens, yarns, automotive upholstery, leather, paper, etc.
Testing principle
It simulates the subjective feeling process of the human hand on the fabric, in which the pressure head is all cylindrical with fine lines to simulate the fingerprint. The pressure head also adopts the form of one above and two below to simulate the process of human touch. The system quantifies the corresponding indexes through the physical tests of compression, bending, friction and stretching of the material, and gets the surface compression thickness, softness SF, stiffness ST, smoothness SM and looseness LT, and then evaluates the comprehensive style of the fabric.

3, the 2 stage, bending test to get bending maximum, bending modulus, bending work, etc., expressed as stiffness ST.
4, Phase III, friction test to obtain the average friction, friction coefficient, friction work, etc., slip SM.
5, stage 4, tensile test to get the tensile modulus, tensile work, etc., expressed as the looseness LT. test results comprehensive assessment: comprehensive style CH = A * SF + B * ST + C * SM + D * LT system will get SF, ST, SM, LT each index is divided into one, two, three, four, five levels. The comprehensive style is the sum of the weights of softness, stiffness, smoothness and looseness, and the coefficients A, B, C and D are determined according to the usage, type and material of the material.
