Principle
In the operation of the ICI Mace Snag Tester, nail hammers, suspended by chains, gracefully encircle the guide rod. They are then gently placed on the surface of the samples that are securely entangled on the tumbler, readying them for precise testing.

Once the tumbler rotates at a consistent speed for a designated number of cycles, samples are removed and placed into the pilling assessment box. Here, they are meticulously evaluated against a rating card to determine their quality grade with utmost precision.
