This innovative machine is expertly engineered to evaluate the color fastness of a wide range of textiles, excluding loose fibers. It is exposed to atmospheric nitrogen oxides generated by the combustion of chemical butane or city gas, ensuring comprehensive testing and reliable results.
Test Principle
The meticulous process involves placing both the textile sample and a control standard in a simulated gas smoke environment simultaneously. The test concludes when the control standard's color shifts to match a predetermined fading standard. The sample's color alteration is precisely assessed using a sophisticated gray sample card. Should no noticeable color change occur after a single test cycle, additional cycles can be conducted to achieve the desired color transformation, ensuring thorough and accurate testing.
