The M024B ICI Mace Snag Tester should be meticulously positioned on a robust bench, ensuring it can securely support the instrument. This setup not only guarantees stability but also minimizes any potential movement during vigorous use, optimizing testing accuracy.

Principle
The nail hammers, elegantly suspended by chains, spin around the guiding rod and gently rest onto the sample's surface, intricately entwined on the tumbler. This precise action is key to evaluating the snagging resistance.

Once the tumbler completes rotations at a steady speed for a set duration, samples are carefully removed and placed within the pilling assessment box. Here, they are meticulously compared with a rating card to precisely determine their grade, ensuring reliable results.
