1. The instrument uses a touchscreen microcomputer control system that displays test results in real time. The measurement range is 10Ω to 1014Ω. Test data can be automatically displayed on the touchscreen as a report, printed, saved to a USB flash drive, or connected to a computer for easy operation.
2. The instrument automatically adjusts the magnification based on the specific resistivity of the fiber being tested, eliminating the need for manual adjustment of the magnification switch.
3. The instrument automatically compresses the staple fibers in the measurement chamber, eliminating the need for manual cranking of the sample, making operation more convenient.
4. In addition to testing the specific resistivity of staple fibers, the instrument can also measure the specific resistivity of filament yarns with the addition of an add-on device.
