Sharp point tester is to determine whether accessible sharp points on child-related products are likely to cause injury.
If the accessible sharp point penetrates a specified depth into the small rectangular opening of the tester, the LED is illuminated to indicate that the point is unacceptably sharp.

Test Principle
Put the sharp point tester onto accessible sharp point articles, detect whether the sharp point can insert the slot of sharp point tester and reach specified depth. If the tested point inserts testing slot and penetrates a distance of 0,50 mm or more into the gauging slot, causing the indicator lamp to light, and the point maintains its original shape while under a force of 4,5 N, the point tested is considered to be a sharp point.
