Its cutting-edge burning index rating system provides a reliable performance evaluation. Please note that this test is not applicable for materials prone to melting and shrinking upon fire exposure.

Test Principle
In this advanced testing procedure, the specimen is securely mounted vertically within a frame, where a flame is strategically applied to its base. The process involves recording the maximum height reached by the flame within a set duration or the time taken for the flame's tip to ascend to a specified height. Additionally, the ambient air temperature in a flue positioned above the specimen is measured. Collectively, these readings culminate in the precise determination of the material's flammability index.
