Test Principle
The process is initiated by clamping the sample onto the extensible diaphragm using a round sample holder. Air pressure is applied beneath the diaphragm, causing both the diaphragm and sample to expand. This continues at a consistent speed, with pressure being incrementally added until the sample bursts, at which point the burst strength and expansion are measured accurately.
