This instrument is suitable for testing the UV protection properties of fabrics, complying with test methods specified in standards such as GB/T 18830, AATCC 183, BS 7914, EN 13758, AS/NZS 4399, and JIS L 1925. Its principle is to irradiate a sample with monochromatic or polychromatic UV rays, collect the total spectral transmission rays, measure the total spectral transmission ratio, and calculate the sample's UPF value. The sample can be illuminated with a parallel beam, using an integrating sphere to collect all the incident light, or with a hemisphere to collect the parallel transmitted light.

Introduction of the instrument principle
Irradiate the sample with monochromatic or polychromatic UV radiation, collect the total spectral transmitted radiation, measure the total spectral transmittance, and calculate the sample's UV protection factor (UPF).

A parallel beam can be used to illuminate the sample, and an integrating sphere can be used to collect all transmitted light.
