Test Principle
At the heart of this testing process, your sample is mounted onto a U-shaped holder at a precise 45° angle. Within a mere second, the sample is ignited. The time taken for the fabric to burn with a flame reaching a specified distance serves as a critical reference for evaluating fabric burning intensity.'The surface of the fabric, whether it giggles, burns, or melts at the base, is considered an additional indicator of burning intensity and must be duly noted.
