Test Principle
The hardness test principle is based on the pressure at the end of the pressure pin: 0.55N-8.06N (56g-822g) under a known spring pressure. The resistance of the probe when it penetrates the surface of the measured object is converted into the pointer reading on the dial of the durometer.
