It was a newly developed product that quickly gained wide acceptance from customers and became an internationally recognised standard for laboratory footwear testing. The test results were in full compliance with the standard tank test, in which the wearer walks through the water to assess resistance to water leakage.
The Dynamic footwear water resistance tester is a laboratory test which flexes the footwear in water contained in a clear polycarbonate tank. This twin-station machine comprises two separate water tanks and two separate bending mechanisms.
Each platform has an independently controlled cylinder that allows the shoes to alternate in and out of the sink. A preset counter allows the machine to operate unattended. When the preset number is reached, the shoe will be lifted off the water.
