M045 Thermal insulation tester/Sweating Guarded Hotplate is used to simulate the process that human skin produces heat and water vapor penetrate fabrics. Special designed to determine the Thermal resistance (heat preservation) and moisture resistance (moisture conductivity) properties under the constant environment, which is applicable for fabric, thin film, coating, foamed plastic, leather, composite material and its garments, quilts, sleeping bags, interior decoration materials, other textiles products.

Test Principle
Under standard testing environment, heat the fixed aluminum or copper plates to make them maintain the fixed temperature, and test the heating power. Also, cover the testing fabric onto aluminum or copper plate and test the power at same condition, and according to both power difference and testing plate area to check testing specimen thermal resistance or wet resistance.

1. Integrated design of control system and auto water supply system, user is able to purchase different testing chamber.
2. Auto water supply, drainage system and strong force water supply system(during wet resistance testing, heating plate penetrate water more fast.)
3. High precision auto platform movement system. After input thickness of specimen, testing platform will move to corresponding position.
4. Quick reach testing stable state. Machine automatically adjust PID control parameters to quick reach testing condition according to thickness of specimen.
5. Patent wind speed parallel stable system to uniform wind speed and make testing result more stable.
6. Wind speed 0-2 m/s continuously adjustable to meet any wet resistance thermal resistance and thermal insulation performance testing standards.
7. Thermal protective ring width 127mm to ensure heat transmit from testing specimen only.
LED subdued light lighting system equipped.
8. Support USB communication and wireless WIFI channel to connect more convenient.
9. Whole machine shell in stainless steel materials to ensure durable.
