Its primary function is to accurately determine the extent of marring on the leather surface or finish, as well as the degree of color transfer to wool felt. Test Method
Under specified pressure, the sample is delicately placed on the test surface and securely clamped to perform reciprocating abrasion; Subsequently, insert the wool felt at the end of the rubbing head and activate the tester. After completing the test for the predetermined duration, visually inspect the degree of color change and fading on the sample, as well as the discoloration of the wool felt. In instances of color transference, the wool-felt rubbing pad is expertly evaluated using the grey scale to ensure precise assessment.
