Continuous condensation test chamber
The E009N Continuous Condensation Test Chamber is designed in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 13893-2008 "Determination of Humidity Resistance of Colour Paint and Varnish Continuous Condensation Method" (Equivalent to ISO 6270 Standard Part 1) and ASTM D 4585 for assessing the humidity resistance of coatings, paint systems and their analogues to high humidity environments with continuous condensation. The test method specifies a continuous condensation performance test that may occur on the surface of a coating under severe exposure conditions. It is applicable to coating systems including porous substrates (e.g., wood, gypsum, and paper-faced gypsum boards) and non-porous substrates (e.g., metals), and reveals phenomena such as damage to the coating (including bubbling, staining, softening, wrinkling, and embrittlement) as well as damage to the substrate.
The instrument uses 100% condensing humidity to simulate and accelerate damage to metals, coatings and organic materials caused by dew. Increasing condensate temperatures will damage dew more quickly than natural storms. It has a simple structure, easy operation and high reproducibility of test results.
Temperature and Moisture In the E009N Continuous Condensation Tester, moisture can be either invisible dew or continuously flowing hot condensate. The E009N Continuous Condensation Tester can be set up with a drying cycle to remove osmotic pressure, or moisture erosion can be accelerated by increasing the condensation temperature.
The E009N Continuous Condensation Tester is fairly inexpensive to purchase and operate, it requires no special installation conditions, just a connection to an ordinary power supply and mains water for normal use. Its versatility, speed and low operating costs make the E009N Continuous Condensation Tester a very cost-effective condensation tester on the market.
