Additionally, it provides a comprehensive evaluation of dye fastness when subjected to rigorous washing procedures.
Test Principle
In this meticulous process, a sample of specified dimensions is precisely cut and expertly sewn with a multifiber cloth. This assembly is then placed into specially designed washing beakers, alongside a washing liquor maintained at a predetermined temperature, and steel balls. The rotary wash is conducted for a specified duration, post which the multifiber cloth is removed and dried. The final step involves a detailed comparison and assessment of its colorfastness grade, using the Gray scale for an authoritative evaluation of staining.
