IULTCS & Veslic Leather Abrasion Tester This advanced tester is expertly engineered to perform rub fastness tests on leather, plastic, and textile surfaces. It precisely measures the degree of marring on leather finishes and the extent of color transfer to wool felt. Both dry and wet abrasion tests are meticulously available for comprehensive analysis.

Test Method
Under specified pressure, the testing begins by placingthe sample securely on the test surface where it is clamped to initiate a reciprocating abrasion motion; Next, the wool felt is carefully inserted at the end of the rubbing head, and the machine is switched on to activate the tester. After testing for a predetermined duration, a visual inspection is conducted to assessthe degree of color change and fading on the sample's wool felt, as well as the level of discoloration observed on the wool felt. In instances of color transfer, the wool-felt rubbing pad's color alteration is meticulously evaluated using the grey scale, ensuring precise and reliable results.
