Uts International Co., Ltd presents an innovative solution for the textile industry: our state-of-the-art Laboratory Equipment - the Gas Fume Chamber for Textile Colour Fastness Testing. This meticulously engineered machine is designed to deliver precise results when assessing the color fastness of virtually all textiles, excluding loose fibers. It simulates exposure to atmospheric nitrogen oxides generated by the combustion of chemical butane gas or city gas, ensuring rigorous testing standards.
Test Principle
The testing process is elegantly straightforward yet highly effective. Both the textile sample and the control standard are subjected to the gas smoke simultaneously. The test concludes once the color of the control standard has transformed to match the predetermined fading standard. The textile sample's color change is meticulously evaluated with a gray sample card. Should the sample remain unchanged post-cycle, the testing can be extended for additional cycles as specified, or until the sample achieves the required color transformation.
