The Automatic Flammability Tester is meticulously engineered to assess the horizontal burn rates and resistance of textiles, making it indispensable for automotive interior applications. This comprehensive flammability test precisely measures the time required for a flame to traverse a specified horizontal distance, ensuring adherence to ISO 3795 Standards.

Test Principle
In this test, the sample is securely held in a horizontal orientation on a U-shaped holder. The free end of the sample is ignited using a flame of predetermined height inside a specialized test chamber for a duration of 15 seconds. The focus is to observe whether the flame extinguishes naturally, and to measure both the burning distance and the time taken to achieve this distance.
