It effectively utilizes the burning index to assess and rate material performance meticulously. Please note, this test is specifically designed for materials that do not melt or shrink upon contact with fire, ensuring precise and accurate evaluations.

Test Principle
The testing process involves securing the specimen vertically on a specialized frame, where a flame is meticulously applied to its base. The experiment records the maximum flame height achieved within a specified timeframe, or the duration needed for the flame's tip to reach a predetermined height. Simultaneously, air temperature is accurately measured in a flue positioned above the specimen. These detailed measurements are crucial in determining the material's flammability index, providing a comprehensive assessment of its safety standards.
